This wheel is made to carry serious weight without giving up stability. Each Dexstar Steel Mini Mod trailer wheel is rated for 2,200 lbs and meets Department of Transportation standards. The sturdy steel construction gives you the confidence to haul heavy gear knowing the wheel can handle the strain mile after mile.
If you’re in and out of wet or humid environments, this finish makes a big difference. The silver powder coat is applied over an e-coat primer to seal out moisture and road grime, keeping the wheel looking clean and preventing rust from taking hold over time. It’s a simple way to extend the life of your setup while maintaining a sharp look.
The Dexstar Mini Mod uses a 15" diameter by 5" wide rim with a 5 on 5" bolt pattern, 3.19" pilot diameter, 1/2"-20 wheel bolts, and zero offset. That combination gives you easy alignment and balanced performance without pushing the tire too far in or out. The design keeps backspacing right at 3 inches, so it sits just where it should for dependable handling.
The modular design adds strength where it counts while keeping weight consistent across the wheel. This solid steel build resists flex under load and keeps your trailer tracking straight, even during frequent towing or long hauls. It’s a straightforward, proven design built for everyday reliability.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

The rim did not come with a value stem mounted. The previous rim I had ordered came with a value stem installed.
So about the same rim as the previous 4.75 versus 5, cost was slighter higher, but somewhat expected but with no stem for the addition cost.
Great rims- I use them on all 5 of my trailers! And shipping was fast and free
I don't buy a lot from etrailer but when I do, they send "MADE IN AMERICA" products and that says a lot about the company. It would be nice if everything was made in America and they seem to do their best providing that. Customer service is second to none and etrailer has always come through. Thank you.

Very nice experience purchasing the Dexstar mini mod silver wheels. They were temporarily back ordered but were shipped as soon as they became available. purchased to replace older wheels that would have cost more to repaint! disappointed though that the one of four came marred and scratched,
Great wheel, finish is the same as it was brand new, I use it on trailer with tandem axles and take it off road in rough country to load 8000lbs then haul down the highway about eighty miles twice a week . I would buy again,

I ordered (4) replacement 1750 lb 4 leaf springs and a 15" x 5" wheel, the products are exactly what I needed. Installed the parts and works perfectly. Great price and fast delivery, plus free shipping on certain orders. Easy process plus with a good amount of choices, I pick the parts and placed the order online. I then received e-mails on the order status and shipment. Within a few days order was delivered.

I recently ordered five 15" x 5 silver powder coated trailer wheels. The first thing I would like to review is the company. The online ordering process was great and the customer service is exceptional. I worked with Julie H. and she was fantastic to work with. The wheels arrived sooner than expected and were packaged very well. NOT one dent or scratch. The 5 on 5 bolt pattern is not carried and rather expensive where I which is why I went to etrailer.com. The price was almost half what the brick and mortar store wanted. They are currently mounted on my car hauler trailer that is used for everything around my farm. I am very pleased with the product and more pleased with the service. This is a more attractive alternative to the white wagon wheels. I recommended these to anyone running a 6500 pound trailer axle.

Bought these rooms because their ulUS made and they support quite a bit of weight. Look to be high quality and good powder coating. However as others have mentioned, one of the valve stem holes on the two rims I got had very sharp edges and had to be filed down. This shouldn't be the case on what is supposedly a high quality rim. Also not what do you would expect when buying US made product.
